Curriculum Vitae

He graduated in 2014 from the Departments of Physical Education and Sports Teaching and Coaching Education at Ondokuz Mayıs University. He began his academic career as an Instructor at the National Defense University, Turkish Military Academy, where he served for nearly eight years. In 2025, he was appointed as an Instructor in the Department of Physical Education and Sports at Boğaziçi University, where he continues his academic duties. Susuz completed his master’s degree at Gazi University and is currently pursuing his doctoral studies at the same institution. Having been engaged in judo for over thirty years, Susuz also coaches in kickboxing and sambo. His scholarly work primarily focuses on judo and other combat sports, with research interests including the psychosocial aspects of sport as well as exercise and sport psychology.
