Curriculum Vitae
He completed his undergraduate studies in Physical Education and Sports Teaching at Aksaray University and his master’s degree in the Department of Physical Education and Sports Education at Sakarya University. He is currently pursuing his doctoral studies in the Sports Sciences program at Kocaeli University. Madak began his academic career in 2017 as an Instructor in the Department of Physical Education and Sports at the Turkish Naval Academy of the National Defense University, where he taught swimming, sailing, and close combat courses. As of 2026, he continues his career as an Instructor at Boğaziçi University. He started his sports career in 2001 in the swimming discipline and later earned the title of national athlete in taekwondo, representing Türkiye in the international arena. His academic work mainly focuses on psychosocial aspects of sport, exercise and sport psychology, and cognitive performance in sport. He has published scientific studies in national and international peer-reviewed journals in these fields.
