Our university’s newly established Triathlon Team has made a name for itself in its very first year with the success it achieved in the competitions it participated in. The determination and team spirit of our athletes enabled us to achieve significant results in a short period of time.

İzmir Duathlon Turkish Cup

We participated in the first race of the season with two athletes. Furkan Başkan finished 4th in his age category, marking a strong start to the season for our club.

MW Challenge

In the second race, our team continued to improve its performance. Deniz Taşkın placed 2nd in his age category, while Furkan Başkan finished 4th. With these results, Boğaziçi Triathlon Team made its first appearance on the podium.

Ankara Duathlon Turkish Cup Final

In this important event, where we competed with three athletes, Furkan Başkan finished 3rd in his age category and secured 2nd place overall in the season’s duathlon points ranking. İpek Bardan also contributed to the team’s success by finishing 4th in her age category.

Eğirdir Triathlon Turkish Cup

In another key race of the season, three of our athletes competed. Deniz Taşkın finished 3rd in his age group. In addition to this achievement, our athletes qualified to participate in the Asia & Europe Age Group Championships.

Our athletes represented our country with great success on the international stage. Deniz Taşkın and Eren Sevinç achieved a historic result by finishing 1st and 2nd respectively among the Turkish athletes competing in their age categories.

Next Stop: Mudanya

The next goal for our team is the Sprint Triathlon Turkish Cup Final to be held in Mudanya. Our athletes are continuing their intensive preparations to represent our university in the best possible way in this upcoming race.
